Warning light regarding fault was activated when being diagnosed, should have been sorted rather than left on

The dealer apparently spent over 5 days just identifying the fault using a supposedly computerised diagnosis system. With this modern technology, this is an amazing amount of time and at 130 an hour, obviously my money.
